Before I left the hotel today, I opened the drawer in my room, just to make sure I wasn't leaving anything behind.  Here's what I found....condoms, and a nice little reminder to sleep peacefully.

On my way out, I almost stepped on a beetle the size of my toe.

I think I'm ready to go home.

Uploading video, using the BEGAN, a portable communication device.  It connects to the internet using a satellite transmission.  Which means you have to be outside to use it. 

It can be frustrating at times.

And takes a while to upload.  Lots of time to appreciate the local flora.

Swazi Dogs

 This is Josphinah Makhanya.  She is 67 years old.  Twice a day, she carries this 60 pound bucket of water to her house, after filling it in a nearby spring.  She has a fabulous smile, not to mention, killer biceps.

First stop in Swaziland, the Ezulwini Craft Market.   

I thought these place mats would make fun wall hangings.  But I didn't have room in my suitcase.  Maybe next time.

 This artist had some really intriguing carvings, unlike anything I've seen in Africa.  If I thought I could have kept them from breaking, I would have bought one.
